  • The Department of Consumer Affairs will do a brief presentation of the NYC Commuter Benefits Law 
  • Proposed Marcus Paulo Tours bus stop in front of 766 8th Avenue (east side of the street) between West 46th Street and West 47th Street.  There will be 21 pick-ups and 14 drop-offs per week. There will be 2 pick-ups per day Monday through Sunday at 6AM and 6:45AM and 2 drop-offs per day Monday through Sunday at 8:30PM and 8:45PM. 
  • The NYC Department of Transportation will give a presentation on Union Square Bike Network Improvements.

  • 5 West 25th Street, Lukes Lobster XIX LLC d/b/a Lukes Lobster, application for a new unenclosed sidewalk cafe with 8 tables and 16 chairs.
  • Application to hold Breyers Ice Cream, 150th Anniversary at Madison Square Park on June 22nd 2016. The event is to promote the 150th Anniversary of Breyers Ice Cream. From 11AM-2PM, there will be brand ambassadors sampling ice cream to passers-by while light music is played for ambiance. At 12PM, there will be a media moment sing-along featuring the celebrity spokesperson. 
  • Proposal for a two day paid ticketed music festival in Bryant Park on October 1st & October 2nd. The park will be closed to the public for those two days.

  • Union 16 Parking LLC, operator of a parking garage at 110 East 16th Street, is seeking renewal of an Authorization, that has existed since 1960, that allows for a public parking garage with a capacity of 200 vehicles. No changes are proposed.
  • 249 West 28 Street Properties, LLC requests a three-year renewal of their special permit to allow for an attended public parking garage on the ground floor, cellar and sub-cellar level of a proposed mixed-use development. They are also seeking to modify the special permit to permit some reconfiguration of these parking plans and a reduction in the total number of spaces from 325 to 190.
  • 217-221 West 29th Street is seeking (1) A special permit to allow for an increase in the number of parking spaces above legal maximum (2) Proposal to amend the Zoning Resolution to allow for a reduction of the ground floor retail requirement (3) Application to permit less than lawful amount of ground floor retail.
