Midtown Community Court is hosting a Know Your Rights workshop on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 6:00 -7:30pm for community members. The workshop will focus on dispelling myths surrounding civilian rights during police encounters. Participants will learn more about their constitutional and civil rights to remain informed and stay safe. The event will be held on Zoom and in-person. Department of City Planning Information Sessions
Mayor Adams is proposing three city-wide text amendments to promote a more sustainable city, to create more jobs and economic opportunity, and to deliver more housing. Collectively, they are referred to as the “City of Yes” proposals.
There will be public information sessions on Monday, March 20 and Tuesday, March 28.
These public information sessions will focus on the first proposal -- City of Yes for Carbon Neutrality -- that will support the quest to make New York City a greener, healthier city for all New Yorkers. Read More
The MTA has informed us that work will begin as early as Monday, January 9 to remove the Park Avenue Malls/Medians between East 46th and East 49th Street to facilitate the MTA and Metro-North Railroad Grand Central Terminal Train Shed Rehabilitation Project.
