• The Department of City Planning will be presenting their proposal for a zoning text amendment to create a new zoning district for the blocks bounded by 7th-8th Avenues b/t 28-30th Streets. The proposed new district is intended to preserve existing concentrations of Class B and C office and light industrial space, while allowing residential development on currently under-built sites.  It would create opportunities for affordable housing development through the Inclusionary Housing Program.  Click here for more comprehensive info.
