WHEREAS, Serafina Broadway Ltd. (“Applicant”) is applying for a renewed permit of an existing unenclosed sidewalk café license at 210 West 55 Street; and
WHEREAS, The applicant and the sidewalk café are in good standing and compliant with all requirements of the permitting process;
WHEREAS, The applicant has operated as a valuable member of the community and this application is strictly to renew the permit for the existing conditions to continue business as usual;
WHEREAS, The application meets the DCA regulations for layout and pedestrian circulation and flow; and
WHEREAS, There are no proposed changes to the layout, operating hours, and operating procedures; and
WHEREAS, Applicant is a neighborhood business who has widespread support in the community; therefore be it
RESOLVED, Community Board Five recommends approval of the application for renewal of the permit for the existing unenclosed sidewalk café at 210 West 55th Street.
