Application for a proposed operation of a physical culture establishment at 1 Union Square West, Cross Fit Union Square West LLC

WHEREAS, The applicant, Cross Fit Union Square West LLC, seeks a special permit from the Board of Standards and Appeals to operate as a physical culture establishment on the basement level at 1 Union Square West; and

WHEREAS, The applicant will operate as a Reebok CrossFit fitness center; and

WHEREAS, The owner has experience has experience operating similar facilities in New York and Miami; and

WHEREAS, The establishment would occupy 6,032 sq. ft. of commercial space; and

WHEREAS, The hours of operation will be 5am to 9pm and will be fully compliant with ADA requirements; therefore be it

RESOLVED, Community Board Five recommends approval of the application by Cross Fit Union Square West for a special permit for a physical culture establishment on the basement level at 1 Union Square West.
