Application for a proposed operation of a physical culture 500 Lexington Avenue, (E 47th and 48th Streets), Sheva NY Inc.
WHEREAS, The applicant, Sheva NY Inc, seeks a special permit from the Board of Standards and Appeals to operate as a physical culture establishment on the ground floor at 500 Lexington Avenue (between East 47th and 48th Streets); and
WHEREAS, The applicant will operate as a nail salon with two massage rooms on the premises; and
WHEREAS, The masseuses will be licensed and the general manager has experience operating a similar facility in Tel Aviv; and
WHEREAS, The establishment would occupy 1,345 sq. ft. of commercial space; and
WHEREAS, The hours of operation will be 8am to 10pm and will be fully compliant with ADA requirements; therefore be it
RESOLVED, Community Board Five recommends approval of the application by Sheva NY Inc for a special permit for a physical culture establishment on the ground floor at 500 Lexington Avenue.
