30 West 18th Street, Just Calm Down II, Inc., application to legalize the operation of a physical culture establishment/spa studio.

WHEREAS, The application is for the legalization of the BSA special permit for physical culture establishment for Just Calm Down II, Inc, located at 30 West 18^th Street; and

WHEREAS, The applicant Just Calm Down is a reputable massage and spa establishment that used to operate a similar facility on West 22^nd street, within the boundaries of CB5; and

WHEREAS, The applicant has relocated its operation to another building and is requesting a BSA special permit for this new location; and

WHEREAS, The establishment will offer body treatments and beauty services, including massage, facials, manicures and waxing; and

WHEREAS, The neighborhood will not be negatively impacted by the establishment; therefore be it

RESOLVED, that CB5 recommends approval for a legalization of a BSA special permit to operate a physical culture establishment called Just Calm Down II, Inc, at 30 West 18^th Street.

The above resolution passed by a vote of 34 in favor; 1 opposed; 1 abstaining.
