1186 Broadway at the corner of 29th Street. FRIEDFIELD BRESLIN, LLC. DBA The John Dory Oyster Bar, application for unenclosed sidewalk café with 13 tables and 26 seats

WHEREAS, The applicant, FRIEDFIELD BRESLIN, LLC, is applying for an unenclosed sidewalk café at 1186 Broadway at the corner of 29^th Street, and

WHEREAS, The proposed sidewalk café would have 13 tables and 26 seats,

-       With 4 tables and 8 seats on Broadway, leaving 8'1'' feet for pedestrian traffic and,

-       With 9 tables and 18 seats on 29^th Street, leaving 8 feet for pedestrian traffic and

WHEREAS, The sidewalk café has agreed to the following hours of operation:

-       Monday      8:00 AM - 10:00 PM

-       Tuesday      8:00 AM - 10:00 PM

-       Wednesday 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM

-       Thursday    8:00 AM - 11:00 PM

-       Friday         8:00 AM - 11:00 PM

-       Saturday     11:00 AM - 11:00 PM

-       Sunday       11:00 AM - 10:00 PM; and

WHEREAS, The sidewalk registers light to medium pedestrian traffic, therefore be it

RESOLVED, That Community Board Five recommends approval of the application for an unenclosed sidewalk café with 13 tables and 26 seats at 1186 Broadway at the corner of 29^th Street.

The above resolution passed by a vote of 36 in favor; 0 opposed; 1 abstaining.
