255 5th Avenue, bet. 28th & 29th Sts., HPA Restaurant LLC, application for a new unenclosed sidewalk café with 6 tables and 24 seats.

WHEREAS, The applicant, HPA Restaurant LLC, is applying for a small unenclosed sidewalk café at 255 5^th Avenue, bet. 28^th & 29^th Sts; and

WHEREAS, The proposed sidewalk café would have 6 tables and 24 seats, leaving 15'3'' for pedestrian traffic; and

WHEREAS, The sidewalk café would close no later than 10 PM from Sunday to Wednesday, and no later than 11 PM from Thursday to Saturday; and

WHEREAS, The sidewalk registers light pedestrian traffic; therefore be it

RESOLVED, that Community Board Five recommends approval of the application for an unenclosed sidewalk café with 6 tables and 24 seats at 255 5^th Avenue, bet. 28^th & 29^th Sts.

The above resolution passed  by a vote of 26 in favor; 0 opposed; 1 abstaining.
