Application from Fresh 54 LLC for a new small, unenclosed sidewalk café at 839 7th Avenue to consist of 6 tables and 12 chairs
WHEREAS, Fresh 54 LLC ("Applicant") has submitted an application seeking permission to install and operate a small seasonal unenclosed sidewalk café at 839 7th Avenue (on West 54th Street) to consist of 6 tables and 12 chairs for seasonal seating, all located on 54th Street; and
WHEREAS, The six tables proposed are all two-tops, the proposed sidewalk café is sheltered by a large building entranceway, and the degree of pedestrian foot traffic is not a major concern at this location; and
WHEREAS, The previous owner operated a café in the same space with no deleterious impact to the public way, and
WHEREAS, Applicant posted public notices and represented the application at the public hearing, with no parties registering concern or objection; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, Community Board Five recommends approval of the application from Fresh 54 LLC for
a new small, unenclosed sidewalk café at 839 7th Avenue (West 54th Street) to consist of 6 tables and 12
chairs.
